How does QuickUptime check if a site is down?
Your browser tries to reach the site directly. If the site answers, we mark it as up and show how long it took. If nothing answers within 10 seconds, we mark it as down.
Why does a site show as up but I still can't load it?
When the site is up for us but down for you, the problem is on your end. Try clearing your browser cache, switching networks (Wi-Fi to mobile data), or flushing your DNS cache.
What do Up, Slow, and Down mean?
Up means the site answered quickly. Slow means it answered, but it took more than a couple of seconds. Down means we waited 10 seconds and got no answer at all.
